Robert Patenge

Rob is a partner in McKinsey’s Technology Practice and the global leader of our work in modernization and technology debt management. Rob focuses his time on advising clients on their major technology transformation and re-platforming journeys

Rob has worked from the London and Sydney offices, and has served clients on these topics across many major markets. Rob is passionate about driving strategic technology decision-making through analytical and value-based approaches. He led the development of the McKinsey Tech Debt Valuation framework and its underlying technologies.

He also leads the SAP/ERP Value Assurance service line for Australia and New Zealand for McKinsey & Company. In this capacity, he focuses on helping organizations de-risk their largest technology transformations and maximize the value realized.
