Finastra opens new office in Bucharest, Romania
Move demonstrates Finastra’s commitment to the region where it employs over 550 people
Bucharest, Romania, November 23, 2018, Finastra announced today that it has opened a new office in Bucharest, Romania. The site, which hosts over 550 employees and contractors, is located in the brand new Orhideea Towers in the business district of Bucharest. The move offers more space for the Finastra team to grow as the company strengthens its position in the country, and provides an ultra-modern workspace to inspire creativity and facilitate collaboration.
The office in Bucharest is a Center of Excellence for Treasury and Capital Markets, and also comprises product development, sales, customer support, global payroll, recruitment and human resources for Europe. Based in the new office, Daniel Paunica, Senior Director Development, Capital Markets, said, “We are determined to become the most inclusive and diverse employer in Fintech in the region and globally. For that we need to make sure that our offices inspire our employees, breed creativity and encourage collaboration. The new Bucharest space offers this level of environment where employees can truly collaborate to innovate.”
Orhideea Towers is one of the newest office properties developed by CAIMMO which has gained LEED Platinum certification, reflecting high quality standards related to design, technical specification and sustainability. Located over three floors, the Finastra office holds 800 working spaces, 53 meeting rooms, six lunch areas, a gym and multiple relaxation rooms. The facilities incorporate some of the most modern technology, including unified communication enabled rooms, video conference units, and wide touch screens enabling easy interconnectivity between users in Bucharest and other global offices.
