Finastra wins three categories in bobsguide Software Rankings 2019
bobsguide awards recognize Finastra’s expert market knowledge and excellence in API management
London, UK - November 29, 2019, Finastra has been awarded first place in three categories in the 2019 bobsguide Software Rankings, including ‘Knowledge of the Market in Which Organisation Operates’ and ‘API Management’. These wins recognize Finastra’s expertise in the financial technology market, and commitment to opening the future of finance through a platform approach and APIs.
Eli Rosner, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Finastra said, “We are honored to be recognized by industry experts for our technical expertise in financial markets and API management. Successful API management is core to the work we are doing to support the future of finance. It aligns closely with the vision of our cloud-based development platform, FusionFabric.cloud, with open APIs being a vital enabler of Open Finance.”
The bobsguide Rankings look at functional capabilities offered by vendors, as well as market specific attributes. Firms selected in the Rankings by the market and readers of bobsguide are considered to have made the greatest impression with those that have used their systems over the past 12 months. Across 2019, Finastra has seen a variety of customer wins and in May it announced the availability of 61 new open APIs on its FusionFabric.cloud platform.
Commenting on the results, Michael McCaw, Editor at bobsguide said, “Each year, the bobsguide Rankings become more competitive, reflective of the vibrant fintech ecosystem and the market it serves. We ask the market to vote for those firms they believe stand out from the competition and have gone the extra mile in terms of development of services to their customers. As well as sector-specific categories, firms were also judged on attributes that ‘set them apart from the herd’.”
Finastra was also awarded first place in the ‘Degree of Straight Through Processing category’, recognizing the efficiency of its solutions. In addition, Finastra placed in the top three for further categories including ‘Widest Product Range’, ‘Implementation Specialists’ and ‘Real-Time Payments’.
